I don't think regular people know that there are 4 types of people flying drones, quads, multicopter or Kwadz.
I am one of the latter :)
Building something like a drone is special its yours much more that anything you buy off the shelves.
You have carefully picked out every piece of carbon and electronics, you even scrape and sand down the edges of the carbon so that it wont splinter when you crash.
Then you solder and tighten everything together making sure no electronics are tuching the carbon because you have allready burned down ESC's so you know that carbon carries current.
Your making sure that none of the wires are longer then they need to because its less things that can go wrong when you have less travel on wires that wibrate in the insane torque it will pull.
And you glue down anything loose so it wont move.
You spinn up the motors and make sure they go the right way, or you need to swap some motor wires. You continue to tune the pids and settings on eider cleanflight or betaflight, setting everything buttery smooth.
You can then admire your finished quad in all its glory, even when the battery wires are to short. But it dosent mather bebause of the insane AMP draw these batteries can do, and all you can hope is that your 20amp ESC's will hold the burst current.
So you take your new quad out and fly.
And crash
But dont worry, you got this. You built it. This is nothing. Sure the battery cable was to short and came loose mid air.
But you built this, you know it will still work.
